Located in the Craigieburn Forest Park the centre provides a perfect setting to explore personal and social responsibility in addressing the environmental issues affecting Aotearoa New Zealand. Students, staff and parents are accommodated in the Centre's extensive modern facilities.

Korimako Lodge - the main building of the facility - can comfortably accommodate 28 people, provides an expansive kitchen, large main room, and four separate bunkrooms. Recent improvements include new individual bunks and mattresses, heatpumps, showers adn improved lighting.

Kea Cottage also has full kitchen facilities, two bunkrooms and sleeps six.

New charges effective from October 1st 2026*

  • $15 per person for school and youth groups
  • $20 per person for tertiary groups
  • $25 per person for other adult groups (Children under 5 yrs FREE)

Minimum charges

  • $165/Night - Korimako Lodge
  • $85 /Night - Kea Cottage
  • $250/Night for the entire facility
    * Applies to all new bookings from October 1st, 2026 and all existing 2027 bookings.

The Bunkroom Main Room Kitchen

This Bunkroom is the largest of
four separate bunkrooms.

The Main Room provides a dining room and teaching space.

The Kitchen is equipped with all cooking equipment, stoves, fridges, and deep-freezers.
